What data is processed?
We process your personal data that we have collected directly from you. Personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) is all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, e.g. your name, your address, your telephone number or your date of birth. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, online identification, or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

Specifically, we process:

  • First and last name
  • Date of your visit
  • Car licence plate
  • Name and address of the company you work for
  • Your contact person in the company
  • Visitor pass number
  • Time at the beginning and end of your visit
  • Signature

Processing purpose, legal basis and transmission of data
The data processing is carried out to fulfil the following purposes: Exercise of domiciliary rights, protection of property and to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The legal basis for the processing of these data is the legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in the data processing.

Obligation to provide your data 

You are neither legally nor contractually obliged to provide us with your data in the context of visitor registration. However, if you refuse to provide us with your data, we are entitled to refuse you access to our premises and buildings. If you are obliged to enter our buildings and premises on the basis of a contractual agreement with third parties (e.g. your employer), you may under certain circumstances suffer disadvantages.

Duration of storage
Your personal data processed for the purpose of visitor registration will be deleted at the latest four days after your visit.

Data subject rights
You can request information from us at any time about the processing of your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR). In addition, in accordance with the legal provisions, you have a right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) and erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) of your data, a right to limit processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and you can object to the processing of your data (Art. 21 GDPR).

Right of appeal to supervisory authorities:
According to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority if you believe that your personal data is being processed unlawfully.
